RESOLUTION NO. 2001
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLOR-
IDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY ENGINEER,TO MAKE APPLICA-
TION TO THE WAR DEPARTMENT OF THE
UNITED STATES FOR PERMISSION TO
CONSTRUCT GROYNES AND BULKHEADS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That Ed R. Neff , City Engineer for said City, be
and he is hereby directed and authorized to make appli-
cation to the War Department of the United States for a
permit to construct groynes and bulkheads along the At-
lantic Ocean Front , from 30th Street to the north line
of 44th Street extended easterly to the shore of the
Atlantic Ocean, in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and
to make such applicati.on in the name of said City or in
his own name as representative of the said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of May, A. D. 1929.
