A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLOR-
IDA, CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF AN
ELECTION HELD JUNE 4th, 1929, AND
DECLARING THE RESULT OF SAID ELEC-
TION TO BE FOR THE ISSUANCE OF
BONDS IN THE SUM OF $ 300,000.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That said City Council, acting as a Can-
vass Board, has this day publicly canvassed the returns of
an election held in said City on June 4th , 1929 , which can-
vass was made solely, exclusively and entirely from the re-
turns of certificates of the Inspectors and Clerk who held

and conducted said election and from such canvass has found
that upon the question:
Shall the City of Miami Beach , Florida, issue
negotiable coupon bonds in the sum of 0 300,000.00
for the purpose of purchasing that portion of
Flamingo Park described as follows:
All of that certain tract or parcel of land lying
and being in the Southwest Quarter (WO.) of Sec-
tion Thirty-Four (3)4) , Township Fifty-Three (53 )
South, Range Forty-Two (42) East and in the North-
west Quarter (NIVT1 ) of Section Three (3 ) 1 Township
Fifty-Four (5)4) South , Range Forty-Two (42) East ,
situated in the City of Miami Beach, County of
Dade , State of Florida , and more particularly des-
cribed as follows:

Beginning at a point at the Northwest corner of
Pine Avenue (now Meridian Avenue as named and
designated in Ordinance No . 232, passed and adop-
ted by the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach , Florida , on January 20th, 1926) and Elev-
enth Street , as per Plat of Ocean Beach , Florida,
Addition Number Three (3 ) , recorded in Plat Book
No . 2, at Page 81 of the Public Records of Dade
County , Florida, thence Westerly along the North-
erly Line of said Eleventh Street and the said
Northerly Line produced Westerly for a distance
of Fourteen Hundred and Fifty (1)450) feet , more
or less , to a point on the Easterly Line of Alton
Road, produced Southerly, thence Northerly along
the said Easterly Line of Alton Road, produced
Southerly , and the said Easterly Line of Alton
Road for a distance of Four Hundred (400) feet ,
more or less , to a point Fifty (50) feet North-
erly of the Northerly Line of Twelfth Street,
thence Easterly aloncr a line Fifty (50) feet
Northerly of and parallel to the said Northerly
Line of Twelfth Street for a distance of Seven

Hundred and Ten (710) feet , more or less , to a
point on the Westerly Line of Mango Avenue (now
Michigan Avenue as named and designated in Ordi-
, nance No. 232 , passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach , Florida, on
January 20th, 1926); thence Northerly along the
said Westerly Line of said Michigan Avenue for a
distance of Fourteen Hundred Seventy-One and 3e-
ven-Tenths (1471.7) feet , more or less, to a point
at the Southeast corner of Block Sixty7Nine (69 )
of Lincoln Subdivision, as per plat recorded in
Plat Book No. 9 , at Page 69 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, thence Easterly along the
Southerly Line of said Lincoln Subdivision for a
distance of Three Hundred Forty and Two-Tenths
(340.2) feet , more or less, to a point at the North-
west corner of First Addition to WhitmanIsSubdivi-
sion of Espanola Villas, as per plat recorded in
Plat Book No. 9 , at Page 147 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida; thence Southerly along the
Westerly Line of said First Addition to Whitman' s
Subdivision of Espanola Villas for a distance of
One Hundred Ninety-Five and Seven-Tenths (195.7)
feet , more or less, to a point at the Southwest cor-
ner of the said First Addition to Whitman' s Subdi-
vision of Espanola Villas; thence Easterly along
the Southerly Line of the said First Addition to
Whitman' s Subdivision of Espanola Villas for a dis-
tance of Three Hundred Ninety-Nine and Eight-Tenths
(399.8) feet , more or less , to a point on the Test-
erly Line of said Meridian Avenue, thence Southerly
along the said Westerly Line of said Meridian Avenue
for a distance of Sixteen Hundred Seventy-Seven and
Four-Tenths (1677)4) feet , more or less , to the point
of beginning , ,containincf Thirty-Six and Fifty-Three
hundredths (30.53 ) Acres, more or less , except
streets and alleys duly dedicated to the public and
accepted*." 88 voters voted "Yes" and 10
voters voted "No" .
And that a majority of the votes cast upon the
aforesaid question was for the issuance of said bonds and
said City Council does hereby declare the result of said
election upon said question to be for the issuance of said
bonds in the aggregate sum of $ 300 ,000.00.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June , A. D. 1929.
