RESOLUTION NO.2022
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
has heretofore authorized the construction of a bridge across
Indian Creek at Forty-first (41st) Street in said City; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the following described
property, to-wit:
Lot Eighteen (18) in Block Thirty-six (36)
as the same is shown by a map or plat of
the Ocean Front property of the Miami Beach
Improvement Company, recorded in Book 2
of Plats, at page 47, in the office of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Dade
County, Florida.
ALSO that tract of land West of Indian Creek
Drive and East of Indian Creek bounded on
the North by the North line of said Lot Eighteen
(18) extended Westerlyland bounded on the South
by the South line of Lot Eighteen (18) extended
Westerly, together with all riparian rights
appurtenant thereto.
be acquired by said City for the purpose of constructing a proper
approach to said bridge, for street purposes and for other municipal
purposes; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to institute condemnation
proceeding for the purposes of acquiring said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council
of the City of 'Miami Beach, Florida, that the said City of Miami
Beach acquire the above described property for the uses and Purposes
above set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, thatthe City Attorney of this
City be and he is hereby authorized to instftute the necessary
legal proceedings in therame of the City of Miami Beach in the
exercise of its right of eminent domain fdr the condemnation of
said property for the purpose of constructing the said approach
to said bridge, for a public street and for other municipal purpose. .
