RESOLUTION NO. 2027
A RESOLUTIOi OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAHI B. DIRLCTING NOTICE
FOR TH. . SALE OF 4 44,000 IMPROVEUENT
BONDS "SERIES L" AUTHORIZED BY RESOLUTION
NO. 2004.
B. IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the City Clerk is hereby directed
to publish at least ten days before the date for receipt
of bids hereinafter stated , in The Sun , a newspaper pub-
lished in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, a notice
calling for bids for W1 ,000 Improvement Bonds " Series 1.1"
authorized by Resolution No. 2004, and is authorized to
publish such notice in some financial journal or journ-
als published in New York City , which notice shall be
in substantially the following; form:

CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
IMPROVEHENT BONDS "SERIES L"
Sealed bids will be received by the City Council ,
addressed to the undersigned and marked "Proposal for
Bonds" , until 10:00 o' clock A. M . , Aucilist 7th, 1929 , for
the following bonds of the City of Miami Beach:
44,000 Improvement Bonds. "Series L" (part of an
authorized issue of 4 190 ,000, the balance of which is
not being offered for sale at present ) maturing annual-
ly July 1, 1; 16,000 1930 , 11 ,000 1931 , -r? 7 ,000 1932 ,
and 4 5 ,000 1933 and 1934.
No option of prior payment reserved. All bonds
dated July 1st , 1929 . Bidder to name interest rate not
exceeding six per cent. in a multiple of one-quarter of
one per cent . Principal and semi-annual interest pay-
able in gold Ft the Chemical Bank and Trust Company,
Yew York City.

Denomination 4 1 ,000; re7isterable as to principal only;
general city bbli97ations; unlimited tax levy, subject to
validation by decree of Circuit Court .
Leal opinion of Caldwell and Raymond, New York
City; certification of bonds by Chemical Bank and Trust
Company, New York City.
Bids must be upon a orintea form which , with addition-
al information as to the City, the bonds and the conditions
of bidding , including requirement for certified check for
two per cent, of the par value of bonds bein7 bid for will
he furnished by said Trust Company or the undersigned.
The right to reject any 2nd all bids is reserved.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall cause to be
printed a pros-oectus containing statisticF1 matter , a
form u'oon which bids must be made , and a notice calling
for bids for said bonds,
ShOTION 3 . That this resolution shall be in full
force and effect immediately upon its adoption.
