• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO MAKS APPLICATION TO THE
WAR DEPARTtvMNT OF THE UNITED STATES
FOR PERMISSION TO CONSTRUCT A BRIDGE

CAUSEWAY AND PALM ISLAND.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:

That Ed R. Neff , City Engineer for said City , be
and he is hereby directed and authorized to make applica—
tion to the 7lar Department of the United States for a
permit to remove the present re—inforced concrete bridge
in Biscayne Bay between the County Causeway and Palm
Island , in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and to
construct on the sane site a Creosote Timber Bridge with
creosote timber piling, and to make such application in
the name of said City or in his own name as representa—
tive of the City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of September , A. D. ,
1929.
