RESOLUTION NO. 2077
DISTRICT U-12 SIH I TEWAY IMPROVEMENT WW-12
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
WW-12 FIFTEENTH STREET from East line of Collins Avenue to the East
line of Ocean Drive, produced Northerly and OCEAN DRIVE from
the North line of Fourteenth Lane to the North line of Harri-
son and Hayes Subdivision, to be improved with a Whiteway
Light System of Ornamental Posts and Lamps at approximately
every ninety-five feet on each side of said Street and Drive,
with connections for lighting said Street and Drive, as said
Street , Avenue, Drive, Lane and Subdivision are shown on the
Plate recorded in Plat Book No. 2, Page 77, and Plat Book No.
9, Page 73, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida and
as said Fifteenth Street and Fourteenth Lane are named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plane and specifications of said improvement and an esti-
mate
stimata of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates, the printing and iubl icat ion of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimat-
ed
stimat-
ed amount to be assessed against ,each front foot of abutting property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-12, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District WW-12.
