Resolution 2108 RESOLUTION NO. 2108
WHEREAS, there has been for a long time past a
frame building upon the following described property

to-wit:
Lot One (1) Block Two (2) OCEAN BEACH
SUBDIVISION, Miami Beach , Florida.
which said building has been, and now is , in a dilapi-
dated condition since the hurricane of September 18th,
1926, and
WHEREAS , the said building in its present condi-
tion constitutes a. menace to public health and safety,
a fire hazard , is unsightly and a nuisance in other
ways .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Coun-
cil of the City of Miami Beach , that the owners of the
said lot , W. F. Daniel , Walter D. Payne , and all others
interested, be immediately notified to clear the same
of and destroy weeds , undergrowth , rubbish , debris ,
trash and unsightly and unsanitary matter , said real
property being encumbered with a lerce amount of weeds ,
undergrowth, rubbish, debris or trash , which is both un-
sightly and unsanitary, and a menace to the health , con-
venience and welfare of the citizens of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that said owners do comply
with the foregoing requirement on or before ten (10)
days from the date of notice hereof as hereinafter set
forth, and if such requirement is not complied with on
or before said time , the City Manager is hereby direct-
ed and authorized to cause such work to be done , keep
an account thereof and report the same to this Council ,
whereupon the cost thereof will be made a charge and
lien against the property so cleared respectively, of
the sable extent and character as liens for special as-
sessments as provided for in the Charter of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that notice of the fore-
going requirement and limitation of time begivento
said owners by publication one time in the Miami Beach
Sun, a ne opaper published in said City , which notice
shall be in substantially the following form:
"NOTICE TO THE OWNERS OF THE HEREINAFTER DES-
CRIBED REAL ESTATE:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach , Florida, on the 20th day
of November , 1929 , adopted its resolution requiring
the owners of the following described reel property
within said City, to-wit:
Lot One (1) Block Two (2) OCEAN BEACH
SUBDIVISION
to clear the same of--and destroy weeds , undergrowth,
rubbish , debris , trash and unsightly and unsanitary
matter thereon on or before ten (10) days after the
publication of this notice.
This notice is riven in behalf' of said City Coun-
cil of such requirement , and if the said requirement is
not complied with within the aforesaid time, said City
will cause such work to be done and ncke the cost there-
of a charge and lien a.F2ainst tyle property so cleared,
which liens shall be forthwith due and payable.
