DISTRICT SR-137 SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT SR-137
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
•
SR-137 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer, or an 3" Concrete Sanitary Sewer, and neces-
sary manholes and appurtenances;
At or near the center of 41st Street, from a point
at or near the west line of Collins Avenue, to a
point one hundred and twenty feet g est of the pE i ,
west line of the said Collins Avenue;
Together with a. 6" Terra Cotta, or a 6" Concrete
Sewer Lateral from the main sewer to the line of
Lots 13 and 14, Block 34, and Lots 10 and 18,
Block 36, all of the Ocean Front Property of the
Miami Beach Imrprovement Coplpany, as a part of the
main improvement;
As said Street, Avenue, Lots, and Blocks are
shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book No. 5, at
Pages 7 and 8, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said Street is named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232;
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character, andsize of said improvement be sub-sequently
determinglin conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said improvement
and an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of the
cost of expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
end superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during con-
struction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein
provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessedagainst each
front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-137, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District SR-137,
