Resolution 2150 RESOLUTION NO. 2150 DISTRICT 11-114 HIGHWAY IMPROVE- MENT H-11 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby ordered to •be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter: H-114 FORTY-FOURTH STREET: From the East Line of Collins Avenue to the East Line of Indian Creek Drive, and, COLLINS AVENUE: From the South Line of the First Ocean Front Subdivision of the Miami Beach Bay Shore Company, as it is shown on the Amended Plat of the same, to a radial line produced in and across the said Collins Avenue at the Northerly point of tangency of a curve, said curve lying and being along the easterly line of the said Collins Avenue , at the intersection of the said Collins Avenue with Harding Drive, and said curve having a radius of 235.97 feet and a central angle of forty-five de- grees and fifty-six minutes, and, HARDING DRIVE: From a point 11. 58 feet northerly of the southerly line of Lot 21, Block 2, of the Amended Flat of Sec- ond Ocean Front Subdivision of the Miami Beach Bay Shore Company, to the said intersection of the said Harding Drive with the said Collins Avenue, to be paved, and where heretofore paved , to be repaved, to a width of forty-nine feet with a Bituminous Ilrearin Surface on a 10" Rock Base , or a Portland Cement Concrete Pavment, :i::n:::::s:: sewer inlets, manholes and catch basins, and im- proved ter; As said Street , Avenue, Drives, Subdivisions, Curve , Intersection, Lot and Block are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book No . 5, Pages 7 and 8, in Plat Book No . 8, Page 61, in Plat Book No . 9, Page 78, and in Plat Book No . 28, Pages 16 and 28, all of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said street is named and desiznated in Or- dinance No . 232, passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on January 20th, 1926. And it is hereby directed that the material, na- ture and character of said improvement be sub- sequently determined in conformity with one of such descriptions. The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, in- cluding an estimate of the cost of the expenses of prelimi- nary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and pro- ceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construc -12- tion, legal services, abstracts, etc . , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting oroperty. This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, as- sessments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-114, and the property against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as District H-114.
