DISTRICT H-115 HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT H-115
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made, the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
H-1l5 COLLINS AVENUE: From the south line of Forty-
Fourth Street to the north line of Indian Beach
Corporation 's Subdivision of Lands in Government
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 , of Section 23, Town-
ship 53 South, Range 42 East , as it is shown on
the Amended Plat of the same , to be paved, and
where heretofore paved, to be repaved, to a width
of forty feet , with a Bituminous Wearing Surface
on a 10" Rock Base, or a Portland Cement Concrete
Pavement , with necessary drainage , sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins , and improved on both
sides with a Concrete curb and gutter, as said
Avenue , Street end Subdivision are shown on Plats
recorded in Flat Book No . 5, at Pages 7 and 8,
and in Plat Book No . g, Page 61, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Street is named and designated in Ordinance No .
232, passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on January
20th, 1926 .
And it is hereby directed that the material, na-
ture and character of said improvement be subse-
quently determined in conformity with one of such
descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind
of said improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, in-
cluding an estimate of the cost of the expenses of prelimi-
nary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during con-
struction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to
be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, as-
sessments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-115, and the
property against which assessments therefor may be made for
the cost thereof shall be designated as District H-115.
