DISTRICT H-116 HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT H-116
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to -proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
H-116 PINE TREE DRIVE: From the North Line of Flamingo
Waterway to the South Line of Sixty-Third Street;
W. FIFTY-FIRST STREET: From the West Line of the
said Pine Tree Drive to the West line of Lot 1,
Block 9 of the Beach View Subdivision, produced
southerly, and,
SHERIDAN AVENUE: From the Westerly Line of the
said Pine Tree Drive to the North Line of Lot 4,
of the said Block 9, produced Easterly,
to be paved, and where heretofore paved, to be
repaved, to a width of forty feet with a Bitumi-
nous Wearing Surface on a 10" Rock Base , or a
Portland Cement Concrete Pavement , with neces-
sary drainage , sewer inlets, manholes and catch
basins, and improved on both sides with a con-
crete curb and gutter;
As said Drive , Streets , Avenue, Waterway, Lots,
Block and Subdivision are shown on the Plats re-
corded in Plat Book No . 9 , Page 158, in Plat Book
No . 14, Page 42, and in Plat Book No. 16, Page 10,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
And it is hereby directed that the material, na-
ture and character of said improvement be subse-
quently determined in conformity with one of such
descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare, and to file
with the City Merk plans and specifioations of each kind
of said improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, in-
cluding an estimate of the cost of the expenses of prelimi-
nary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and
estimates, the printing and publication of notices and pro-
ceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construc- •
tion, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, as-
sessments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-116, and the
property against which assessments therefor may be made for
• the cost thereof shall be designated as District H-116.
