DISTRICT SR-139 SANITARY SEWER IM-
PROVEMENT SR-139
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
SR-139 The laying underground of a. 10" Terra Ootta, or
a 10" Concrete Sanitary Curb Sewer, and neces-
sary manholes and appurtenances ,
At or near the south curb of Sixty-Third Street ,
from a point at or near the center line of
Sheridan Avenue to a point at or near the east
curb of Alton Road,
In an Easement along the Easterly ends of Lots
to 5, inclusive of Block 21 of Lake View Sub-
division, and in and across an Easement along
the Easterly end of West Fifty-Second Street ,
produced Easterly, from a point at or near the
Northerly line of Lot 22, of said Block 21, to
a point at or neer the center line of the said
Test Fifty-Second Street , produced Easterly,
The laying underground of an 8" Terra. Cotta or
an 8" Concrete Sanitary Curb Sewer, and neces-
sary manholes and appurtenances,
At or near the south curb of West Sixty-Third
Street and in and across north Bay Road from a
point at or near the said east curb of Alton
Road to a. point at or neer the west curb of the
said North Bay Road;
At or near the said west curb of North Bay Road,
from a point et or near the said south curb of
West Sixty-Third Street , produced -esterly to a
point at or near the west curb of the said Alton
Road, at the intersection of the said. Alton Road
with the said North Bay Road just north of Sur-
prise Waterway.
At or near the said east curb of Alton Road, from
a point at or near the said south curb of Sixty-
Third Street to a point at or near the center
line of an unnamed street that runs along the
southerly line of Block 13 of Beach View Addi-
tion;
In an Easement along the Easterly Ends of Flocks
3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 16 and 18 of La Gorce Golf
Subdivision, and in and across Easements along
the Easterly ends of W. Fifty-Second, W. Fifty-
Third, W. Fifty-Fourth, W. Fifty-Sixth, W. Fif-
ty-Seventh, W. Fifty-Eighth, W. Fifty-Ninth, and
W. Sixtieth Streets, produced Easterly from a
ooint at or near the said center line of W. Fif-
ty-Second Street , produced Easterly to a point
at or near the south line of Block 12, of the
said Beach View Addition,produced Westerly.
At or near the east curb of Pine Tree Drive, from
a point at or near the north curb of W. Fifty-
First Street , produced Easterly to a point at or
near the north line of Flamingo ',7aterway,
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta or a 6" Concrete
Sewer Lateral from the main sewer to the line

of approximately each Sixty Feet of abutting
property as a. part of the main improvement .
As said Streets , Roads , Easements, Lots , Sub-
,
division, Addition, Blocks, Avenue , Waterways,
Unnamed Street and Drive are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book No . 14, Pages 42 and 43,
in Plat Book No . 9, Page 158, and in Plat Book
No. 16, Page 10, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida;
And it is hereby directed that the material,
nature, character and size of said improvement
be subsequently determined in confotmity with
one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind
of said improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, in-
cluding an estimate of the cost of expenses of preliminary
and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of plans and specifications and esti-
mates, the printing and publication of notices and proceed-
ings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses nec-
essary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for, and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, as-
sessments and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-139,
and the property against which assessments therefor may be
made for the cost thereof shall be designated as District
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February, A. D. 1930.
