RESOLUTION NO. 2187
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, VACATING A PORTION OF THE PUB-
LIC ALLEYWAY CONNECTING FIRST STREET
AND BISCAYNE STREET IN BLOCK 1, OF OCEAN
BEACH, FLORIDA, AS PER FLAT RECORDED IN
PLAT BOOK NO. 2, PAGE 38, OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, LYING
IMMEDIATELY EAST OF LOTS 9 AND 10 OF SAID
BLOCK 1, AND GRANTING SUCH VACATED POR-
TIONS THEREOF TO THE MIAMI MORTGAGE AND
GUARANTY COMPANY, THEIR SUCCESSORS AND
ASSIGNS .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, That that portion of the
west side of the public alleyway connecting First
Street and Biscayne Street in Block 1, of Ocean
Beach, Florida, being immediately east of and adja-
cent' to Lots 9 and 10 of Block 1, of said Ocean
Beach, Florida, and which is a strip along said al-
leyway Thirty-five Hundredths ( .35) of a foot wide,
be and it is hereby vacated, and the use of such va-
cated portion of said alleyway be and the same is
hereby granted to The Miami Mortgage and Guaranty
Company of Miami, Florida, their successors and as-
signs, subject to the proviso hereinafter contained.
PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that if the building now
on said premises and covering the above described
land is ever moved, demolished, destroyed by fire
or rebuilt, then the above vacation of said por-
tion of said alleyway and the grant of the use of
eC,if the same shall be immediately revoked, terminated
and absolutely voided without any action on the
part of the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida., and said lands above described shall again
become a portion of said alleyway for the public use.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February,
