RESOLUTION NO. 2202
DISTRICT IT-1.71.1 HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City
Charter:
H-111 LENOX AVENUE, From the North Line of Sixteenth
Street to the South Line of Lincoln Road, and
LENOX AND JEFFERSON AVENUES, From the North
Line of the said Lincoln Road to the North
Line of the Alley between the said Lincoln
Road and Seventeenth Street , and,
EUCLID AND PENNSYLVANIA AVENUES, From the said
South Line of the said Lincoln Road to the
South Line of the Alley between the said Lin-
coln Road and the said Sixteenth Street , to be
paved, and where heretofore paved, to be re-
paved, to a width of forty feet with a Bitumi-
nous Wearing Surface on a 10" Rock Base , with
necessary drainage , sewer inlets, manholes and
catch basins, and improved on both sides with
a concrete curb and gutter, as said Avenues,
Road, Streets and Alleys are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book No . 6, Pages 5, 26, 29
and 33 and in Plat Book No, 9, Page 69, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said im-
provement and an estimate of the cost thereof , including an
estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other
surveys , the inspection and superintendence of the work , the
preparation of plans and specifications and estimates , the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings , the
preparation of bonds , interest during construction , legal
services , abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein pro-
vided for., and the estimated amount to be assessed against
each front foot of abutting property .
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , as-
sessments and bonds as Highway Itprovement H-1.11 , and the
property against which assessments therefor may be made for
the cost thereof shall be designated as District H-111 . -
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of February , A. D. 1930 .
