DISTRICT SL-5 SANITARY SEWER LATER-
AL IMPROVEMENT SL-5
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City
Charter :
SL-5 The laying underground of 6" Terra Cotta or 6"
Concrete Sewer Laterals, as a separate improve-
ment, from the existing sanitary sewer to the
line of approximately each Seventy feet of ad-
jacent property,
In Sheridan Avenue, from a point at or near the
Southerly Line of Lot 5, Block 50, of Orchard
Subdivision Nos. 2 and 3, produced in and across
the said Sheridan Ayenue , to a point at or near
the center line of Lt 3, Block 53, of thr, said
Orchard Subdivision Nos. 2 and 3, produced in
and across the said Sheridan Avenue;
Ap said Avenue, Lots, Blocks and Subdivision
are shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book No. 8,
Page 116, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
And it is hereby directed that the material, na-
ture , character and size of said improvement be
subsequently determined in conformity with one
of such descriptions .
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications, of each kind
of said improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, in-
cluding an estimate of the cost of the expenses of prelimi-
nary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and
estimates , the printing and publication of n9tices and pro-
ceedings , the preparation of bonds , interest during construc-
tion , legal services , abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against the abutting property for each Sewer Lateral .
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , as-
sessments and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement
SL-5 , and the property against wiri.ch assessments therefor
may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District SL-5 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of February , A. D. 1930.
