Resolution 2254 RESOLUTION NO. 2254
WHEREAS, Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Com-
pany proposes to make application to the War Department
for permission to lay a submarine cable in Biscayne Bay
between Palm Island and the County Causeway, within the
municipal limits of Miami Beach, Florida, as shown upon
drawing marked:
"PROPOSED SUBMARINE CABLE
IN BISCAYNE BAY BETWEEN
PALM ISLAND AND COUNTY CAUSEWAY
APPLICATION BY SOU. BELL TEL. & TEL. CO.
APRIL 24, 1930"

and,
WHEREAS, said plans have been presented to and con-
sidered by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the work contemplated by the said Southern
Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company will not interfere
with any plans for work which the said City Council has
in view,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of Miami Beach, Florida, in legal meeting assembled, that
the said City Council waive, and it does hereby waive,
all objections to the said proposed construction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, A. D. 1930.
