Resolution 2261 5/22/30 W RESOLUTION NO. 2261. DISTRICT WW-14 WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT WW-14 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter: WW-14 BISCAYNE STREET: From the East line of Ocean Drive produced Southerly to a line Two Hundred Feet Easterly of and parallel to the said East line of Ocean Drive measured along the line of Biscayne Street, to be im- proved with a Whiteway Light System of Ornamental posts and lamps at approximately every Ninety Feet on each side of the said Street, with connections for the lighting of said Street, as said Street and Drive are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 3, Page 151 and Plat Book No. 6, Page 77, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,and as said Biscayne Street is named and desig- nated in Ordinance No. 232. The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the in- spection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property. This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-14, and the property against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as District WW-14.
