Resolution 2281 RESOLUTION NO. 2251
WHEREAS, a number of citizens of Miami Beach,
both skilled and common labor, are now out of em-
ployment, and
WHEREAS, considerable construction work is in
progress at Miami Beach,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is the
sense of this Council that where possible Miami
Beach laborers be employed in this construction,
and that contractors and builders be requested to
so employ them.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Building In-
spector be directed to furnish, with each building
permit issued by him, a copy of this resolution to
contractors and builders.
