DISTRICT SRS-244 SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT SR-144
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
SRR.144 The laying underground of an 8" Terra
Cotta or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer,
and necessary manholes and appurtenances;
At or near the center of West 39th Street
from a point at or near the center of
North Meridian Avenue to a point 2401 feet
Westerly of the said center line of North
Meridian Avenue;
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta or a b"
Concrete Sewer Lateral from the main sewer
to the Street Line of Block 5;
As said. Avenue, Street, and Block are shown
on a Plat recorded in Plat Book 31 at Page �►
9 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida;
And it is hereby directed that the material,
nature, character, and size of saidimprove—
ment be subsequently determined in conformity
with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said improvement
and an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of the
cost of expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specif is a-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and pro-
ceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-144, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District SR--144.
