Resolution 2314 RESOLUTION NO. 231+
WHEREAS, the Peninsula. Terminal Company
proposes to make application to the War De-
partment for permission to construct a steel
sheet piling bulkhead alorgthe Biscayne Bay
front of property owned by said Peninsula
Terminal Company on Harbor Terminal Island
within the municipal limits of Miami Beach,
Florida, as shown upon two drawings, dated
September 9th, 1930, designated Sheet 1 of
2 and Sheet 2 of 2, and marked:
"SKETCH TO ACCOMPANY PERMIT
APPLICATION TO CONSTRUCT A
STEEL SHEET PILING BULKHEAD
IN BISCAYNE BAY HARBOR TERM-
INAL ISLAND ! IAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, PENINSULA TERMINAL
COMPANY, J. P. DUFFY, ENGINEER,
SEPTEMBER 9, 1930. "
and,
WHEREAS, said plans have been presented
to and considered by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the work contemplated by the said
Peninsula Terminal Company will not interfere
with any plans for work which the said City
Council has in view,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of Miami Beach, Florida, in legal meet-
ing assembled that the said City Council waives,
and it does hereby waive all objections to the
said proposed construction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this the 17th day of
September, A. D. 1930. '
