DISTPICT BH-6 WATERFRONT IMPROVEMENT

BE IT FESOLV ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
B11-6 SURPRISE WATERWAY: A waterway in said City to be improved on
the southerly dide with a concrete bulkhead together with the
necessary fill and repairs to existing bulkhead, from a point
which id on the Southerly line of Surprise Waterway and
one hundred and fourteen feet Easterlyof the t e East line of
Alton Road to a point which is the Northeasterly corner of
Lot 4, Block 10. Also from a point which is the Northwesterly
corner of Lot 7,Block 10 to a point which is the Northeasterly

e of Lot 9, Block 10 As said Waterway, Road, Lots, and

Block are shown on a plat recorded in Plat Book No.8,Page 130
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida .
Which Bulkhead and Fill the City Council hereby deems to be a
special benefit to all of the following property: Lots 2,3,4,
7, 8,and 9 of Block 10 of Nautilus Addition as shown on a plat
recorded in Plat Book No.8, Page 130 of the Publics Records
of Dade County, Florida.
And the total cost of said Waterfront Improvement shall be
assessed against the above described property in proportion
to the Special benefits derived.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during const-
ruction, legal services, abstracts etc. , end any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting�the proceedings and work herein
provided for; and the estimated mount to be assessed against each
front foot of abutting property.
This Improverert shP1 be designated in L11 proceedings, assessments
and bonds a PI/072/Improvement BH-6, and the property against which
assessments ti1eieior may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District BH-6
PASSED AND ACCEPTED this 19th day of November A. D. 1930.
