RESOLUTION NO. 2357
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
COMMENDING COUNCILMAN JOHN H. LEVI
ON HIS SPLENDID SERVICE TO THE CITY.
WHEREAS, Honorable John H. Levi, President of
the Miami Beach City Council for eight years, end
member of same for twelve years, has fulfilled his
duties faithfully, unselfishly and impartially, al-
ways for the best interests of the City, and
NHEREAS, his faithful service, his foresighted-
ness, his conservative yet progressive leadership has
been an outstanding factor in the upbuilding of our
City, and
WHEREAS, his association with other City offi-
cials during the past twelve years has been a guiding
influence -for the development of the City, and✓
WHEREAS, his cheerful disposition, sense of
humor and tactful personality combinedwith judicial
executive .ability have turned many problems of the
City ' s government into constructive policies of ad-
ministration,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Councilman
Levi upon the occasion of his retirement from the
presidency of the City Council be extended a unanimous
vote of appreciation by this Council and best wishes
for his continued success as a member of this body.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of December,
