RESOLUTION NO. 2385
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-148 DISTRICT SR-148
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the followinF described improve-
ment is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council here-
by setting forth its intention to proceed under Sections
29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SR-l24-8 The laying underground of an S" Terra
Cotta or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer
and necessary manholes and appurtenan-
ces;
At or near the center of Fortieth Street
from the West line of Collins Avenue to
a point One Hundred Eighty Feet Westerly
of said West Line of Collins Avenue;
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta or a 6"
Concrete Sewer Lateral to the street line
of Lot 17, Block 32;
As said Street, Avenue, Lot, and Block
axe shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book
5, at Pages 7 and S of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and as said.
street is named and designated in Ordi-
nance No. 232;
And it is hereby directed that the mater-
ial, nature, character, and size of said
improvement be subsequently determined in
conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to
file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of
each kind of said improvement and an estimate of the
cost of each, including an estimate of the cost of ex-
penses of oreliminary and other surveys, the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the work, the preparation
of plans and specifications and estimates, the print-
ing and publication of notices and proceedings, the
preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to
be assessed against each front foot of abutting proper-
ty
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings,
assessments and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement
SR-148, and the property against which assessments there-
for may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SR-145.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of February, A. D. 1931.
