Resolution 2416 RESOLUTION NO. 2 .16
WHEREAS, when the County Causeway was construct-
ed an arrangement was entered into between the City of
Miami, the City of Miami Beach and Dade County, where-
by it was arranged that each of said parties should
pay one-third of the cost of lighting same, and
WHEREAS, thereafter and for several years the
City of Miami and the City of Miami Beach have each
been paying approximately one-half of the cost of
lighting same , and
1 WHEREAS, in consideration of the amount of Coun-
ty taxes paid by the property owners of Miami Beach it
is deemed equitable and proper that Dade County should
now assume the obligation of paying that portion of
the cost of lighting said Causeway now being paid by
the City of Miami Beach,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Coun-
cil of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Board of County
Commissioners of Dade County be requested to take over
and pay that portion of the cost of lighting the Coun-
ty Causeway now being paid by the City of Miami Beach.
