Resolution 2455 4 RESOLUTION NO. 2455 WHEREAS, Dr. C. F. Roche has faithfully and unselfishly served our City in the capacity of City Health Officer ever since the creation of our Health Department in November, 1924, often at a sacrifice of time and energy needed in his own prac- tice, and, WHEREAS, Dr. Roche has now found that he is obliged to give up this work and has with regret tendered his resignation from office, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY NOW, OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, That we accept the resignation of the said Dr. C. F. Roche with keen regret , as we are fully mindful of the very efficient work which has been so faithfully and splendidly carried on throughout our City over this more than six year period, especially in the examinations and corrective work done in the Public Schools. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the unani- mous feeling of this body that it will be hard to find a successor for this office who will be so eminently qualified as Dr. Roche, and who can and will give of his time and ability so untiringly and unselfishly as he has. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and this City Council as a body wish Dr. Roche every success in his future work and a hearty Bon Voyage on his present trip of research and study.
