A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE
WAR DEPARTMENT OF THE UNITED STATES
FOR PERMISSION TO DRIVE MOORING
PILES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That Ed R. Neff, City Engineer for said City,
be and he is hereby directed and authorized to make
application to the War Department of the United
States for a permit to drive mooring piles in Meloy
Channel, Biscayne Bay, in front of property owned
by the City of Miami Beach, immediately south of
the east viaduct of the County Causeway approach at
Fifth Street in the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
and to make such application in the name of said
City or in his own name as representative of the
said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of July, A. D.
1931.
