Resolution 2500 RESOLUTION NO. 2500
WHEREAS Dr. J. H. Therrell, as Liquidator for The
Bank of Bay Biscayne, has tendered the City of Miami
Beach, through C. W. Tomlinson, City Clerk, bonds of the
Goulds Special Drainage District No. 1 totalling (at par)
$15,000.00, formerly held as collateral to secure City
of Miami Beach deposits in said Bank, in lieu of a re-
lease by the said City of Miami Beach of any further
claim against the Bank of Bay Biscayne on account of
their deposit in said Bank,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That we do hereby accept the following bonds
from Dr. J. H. Therrell, as Liquidator for
the Bank of Bay Biscayne, in lieu of the City of Miami
Beach deposit in said Bank:
Goulds Special Drainage District
No. 1 of Dade County, Florida,
6% Bonds, maturing as follows:

9, 10, 11, 12, 13 , 14, 15 "T" 10-1-39 3,500.00
$15,000.00
All of the above bonds bearing interest coupons due Octo-
ber 1st, 1931, and all subsequent coupons.
SECTION 2. That we do hereby authorize C. W. Tomlinson,
City Clerk, in behalf of the City of Miami
Beach, to release the Bank of Bay Biscayne from further
liability on account of the City of Miami Beach deposit
in said Bank of Bay Biscayne.
