Resolution 2526 RESOLUTION NO. 2526 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Mayor and City Council- of -the City of Miami Beach, Florida, it is to the best interest of said City that a separate and independent Post Office be established by the United States Government in the City of Miami Beach; ' that the City has so developed in population, wealth, business activity and volume of mail that a separate and distinct Post Office would greatly promote the welfare of said City, and facilitate the handling of mail, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the United States Government be requested to es- tablish, at its earliest convenience, a separate and independent Post Office in and for the said City of Miami Beach, Florida, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Reso- lution be forwarded to The Honorable Walter F. Brown, Postmaster General at Washington, D. C. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of March, A.
