RESOLUTION NO. 2561
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH FLORIDA
MAKING A TAX LEVY FOR TRE TAX YEAR
1932, AND FIXING THE MILLAGE ON
REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN SAID
CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That there be, and the same is hereby levied,
a tax for the year, A. D. 1932, on all real
and personal property located within the corporate limits
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida., on the dollar of
the taxable cash value of all of said property in said
City, the sum of twenty-three (23) mills for the purposes
and amounts as hereinafter fixed, namely:
(A) For the purpose of carrying on the Government or
Administration and Finance Department of said City,
and to provide funds for the support and maintenance of
the different City departments, as follows: Fire; Police;
Harbor Patrol; Beach Patrol; Engineering; Street and
Bridges; Sewer; Parks & Docks; Water; Building Inspection;
Maintenance Public Buildings; Health and Sanitary; Play-
grounds; Public Library; Golf Course; Lighting City; Publi-
city; and Miscellaneous; eight and twenty-five hundreths
(8.25) mills.
(H) For the purpose of paying interest due on all out-
standing bonds and notes of said City as have been
or will be issued during the fiscal year ending October
31st, 1933, and providing the Sinking Fund for the redemp-
tion of said bonds, twelve and twenty-five hundredths
(12.25) mills.
(C) For the purpose of a reserve for Tax discounts and
ab .tements and for uncollected taxes, two and one-

half (22) mills.
SECTION 2: That a certified copy of this resolution be
delivered to the following officers of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida namely: City Tax Assessor,
City Manager, Finance Committeeman and City Auditor.

1932.
