SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-165 .
SR-165
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the
City Charter.
SR-165 The laying underground of an S" Terra Cotta or
an 8" Concrete Sanitary Curb Sewer and the neces-
sary manholes and appurtenances.
At or near the North curb of West 62nd Street
from a point at or near the Westerly line of
Lot 14 , Block 13 , Beach View Addition to a point
at or near the West curb of Cherokee Avenue.
At or near the said West Curb of Cherokee Avenue
and said West Curb produced Southerly from a
point at or near the said North Curb of West
2nd Street to a point in an easement along the
Southerly end of said Cherokee Avenue.
In an easement along the Easterly End of Block 3 ,
La Gorce Golf Subdivision and in Easements along
the Easterly End of West 60th Street and the
said Southerly End of Cherokee Avenue from a point
at or near the said West Curb of Cherokee Avenue
produced Southerly to a point at or near the center
line of West 60th Streetp roduced Easterly.
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta or a 6" Concrete
Sewer Lateral to the line of approximately each
601 of abutting property as a part of the main
improvement.
As said Streets , Avenue , Lot , Blocks , Subdivisions,
and Easements are shown on Plats Recorded in Plat
Book No. 16, at Page 10 and in Plat Book No- 14 at
Page 4+3 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and as said West 62nd Street and Said Cherokee Avenue
are named and designated in Ordinance No. 303.
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature ,
character and size of said improvement be subsequent-
ly determined in conformity with one of such des-
criptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of each kind of said
improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, including an
estimate of the cost of preliminary and other surveys, the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans
and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings , the prepatation of bonds , interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts , etc . , and any other ex-
penses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and

work herein provided for, and the estimated amount to be assess-
ed a.ga.inst each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assess-
ments and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-165 and the
property against which assessments therefore mar be made for the
cost thereof shall be designated as District SR-165.
