Resolution 2619 RESOLUTION NO. 2619 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that, subject to the acceptance of the revised Incorporation Act by a committee consisting of Councilman Edgar Louis Reuling, City Manager Claude A. Renshaw and City Attorney B. R. Cisco, this body will not oppose the incorporation of the Town of Surfside, providing the following three changes are made in the present incorporation Act: First, that the Charter contain no clause prohibiting annexation by the City of Miami Beach; Second, that territory taken into the proposed town be bounded on the South by the North line of Miami Beach and on the North by the South line of the Graham-Briggs—Fisher tract; Third, that the Charter contain similar zoning provisions to those contained in the Miami Beach Act.
