Resolution 2652 RESOLUTION NO. 2652 WHEREAS, Federal funds are available for the purpose of paying the full cost of certain highways including city streets which are portions of primary and secondary highways, and WHEREAS, there is a great number of unemployed in Dade County, and WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Federal authorities to authorize public works projects which can be started at an early date in order to afford relief for the unemployed, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City Manager be authorized and instructed to make application through the prop- er channels requesting that Federal funds be made available for the purpose of paving Collins Avenue with concrete from Forty-fourth Street to Sixty-third Street to a width of forty feet and from Sixty-third Street to the North city limits to a width of thirty feet.
