RESOLUTION NO. 267].
WHEREAS, the permanent mosquito eradioation work at
present being done on the neighboring Keys by Federal forces,
now numbering one hundred and thirty.ftve men, under local
supervision, is progressing very satisfactorily, and
WHEREAS, it would be advantageous to increase this

force by another one hundred nen and we are advised that
further Federal funds are available for this projeott
NOW, THMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY or MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that we hereby tender to
the City Oosmissioners of the City of Miami and to the Dade
County Commissioners the suggestion that we request of the
Federal authorities one hundred additional rnen for this work
and the we jointly share the overhead expense oocasioned
by the increase, and
We offer at this time to pay ono.third of this increased
overhead expanse.
