RESOLUTION NO. 2681
WHEREAS, it has been observed that there are
numerous non-resident loiterers and vagrants, (particular-
ly of the colored race) , roaming the streets of our City
of late, both day and night, and
WHEREAS, there have been a number of houses entered
and robberies committed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Police De-
partment be instructed to proceed at once with a vigorous
campaign to rid the City of such non-resident persons,
1 vagrants and loiterers who are apparently here without
occupation or who can not account for their presence here
in a satisfactory manner, as a means of protection to our
citizens and to best serve the peace and harmony of the
community.
