SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT SR-174 DISTRICT SR-174
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SR-174 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta
or an 8" • Concrete Sanitary Sewer and necessary
manholes and appurtenances.
At or near the center line of Cherokee Avenue
from a point at or near the northerly line of
Lot 14, Block 22, Lakeview Subdivision produced
westerly to a point at or near the southerly
line of Lot 10, Block 25 of Lake View Heights
Subdivision produced easterly.
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta or. a 6" Concrete
sewer lateral from the main sewer to the street
line of said Lot 10.
As said Avenue, Lot, Blocks and Subdivisions are
shown on plats recorded in Plat Book 27, Page 5 and
in Plat Book 14, Page 42 of the Public Records of
DadeCounty, Florida and as said Cherokee Avenue
is named and designated in Ordinance No.303.
And it is hereby directed that the material,
nature, character and size of said improvement
be subsequently determined in conformity with
one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said improve—
ment and an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of
the cost of expenses of oreliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifi—
cations and. estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, and. preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR.-174, and the property
against which assessments, therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District SR-174,
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 4th DAY OF 4 A.D.1.933.
