A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CIT.': OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
MAKING A TAX LEVY FOR THE TAX YEAR
1933, AND FIXING THE MILLAGE ON REAL
AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN SAID CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That there be, and the same is hereby levied, a
tax for the year, A. D. 1933, on all real and
personal property located within the corporate limits of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, on the dollar of the taxable
cash value of all of said property in said City, the sum of
twenty-five (25) mills for the purposes and amounts as herein-
after fixed, namely:
(A) For the purpose of carrying on the Government or Adminis-
tration and Finance Department of said City and to pro-
vide funds for the support and maintenance of the different
City departments, as follows: Fire; Police; Harbor Patrol;
Beach Patrol; Engineering; Street and Bridges; Sewer; Parks &
Docks; Water; Building Inspection; Maintenance Public Buildings; ,
Health; Sanitary; Playgrounds; Public Library; Golf Course;
Lighting City; Publicity; and Miscellaneous; twelve and three
hundred sixty-five thousandths (12.365) mills.
(B) For the purpose of paying interest due on all outstanding
bonds and notes of said City as have been or will be is-
sued during the fiscal year ending October 31st, 193 +, eight
and two hundred fifty-nine thousandth 8.259) mills.
(C) For the purpose of a reserve for Tax discounts and abate-
ments and for uncollected taxes, four and three hundred seventy
six thousandtle(II..376) mills.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this resolution be delivered
to the following officers of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, namely: City Tax Assessor, City Manager, Finance Com-
mitteeman and City Auditor.
