SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT SR-176
IMPROVEMENT SR-176
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Section 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SR-176 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer, or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer and necessary
manholes and. appurtenances;
At or near the center line of Sheridan Avenue from
a point approximately 102 North of the South property
line of West 63rd Street to a point at or near the South
line of Lot 5, Block 4, Beach View Addition produced Westerly;
In and across the East half of said Sheridan Avenue from
the said point at the intersection of the center line of
said Sheridan Avenue with the South property line of said
Lot 5, Block 4, produced Westerly to the East line of said
Sheridan Avenue, thence continuing Easterly in a ten foot
easement to the Southeast corner of said Lot 5, the center
line of said ten foot easement being the South line of said
Lot 5, and Lot 11 and the North line of Lots 6,7,8,9 and 10,
Block 4.
In a ten foot easement in said Block 4 from the said Sluth--
east corner of said Lot 5 to a point at or near the Northwest
corner of Lot 14 of said Block 4; the centerline of said ease-
ment being the East line of Lots 1,2,3,4 and 5, and the West
line of Lots 11,12,13,14 and 15 of said Block 4.
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta or a 6" Concrete Sewer
Lateral from the main sewer to the line of approximately
each fifty feet of the adjacent property as a part of the
main improvement.
As said Addition, Avenues, Street and easement are shown on
a. plat recorded in Plat Book No, 16, Page 10, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said Street is named
and designated in Ordinance Number 303,
And it is hereby directed that the materia.l,nature, character
and size of said improvement be subsequently determined in
conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of each kind of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of Plans and Specifications and
estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the
preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, ab-
stracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting
the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount
to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR.-176, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SRS-176.
