Resolution 2861 RESOLUTION NO. 2861
WHEREAS, it is now determined by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, to consider the amending,
and/or repealing of the regulations, restrictions and/or
boundaries, as provided in Ordinance No. 289, commonly known
as the Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida, as hereinafter
set forth, to-wit:
That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 289, as amended
be amended by adding thereto, the following
paragraph after District No. 27:
"District No. 28. There shall be a front yard
having a depth of not less than five (5) feet.
There shall be a side yard having a width of
not less than five (5) feet on either side of
a building, providing, however, that corner
lots shall not require a side yard on the side
of the lot abutting on a side street. No rear
yard will be required in this district, provid-
ing, however, that arrangements satisfactory to
the Building Inspector shall be provided within
the lot area for the storage of garbage and
trash".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing be called
for the 27th day of June, 1934, at 9:00 o'clock A. M. , in the
Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for
the purpose as above set forth, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the time, place
and object of such hearing be published as is provided by
said Ordinance No. 219.
