Resolution 2867 amownffismes RESOLUTION NO. 2g67 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, TERMINATING FORMER INSTRUCTIONS AS TO THE PAYMENT OF BOND INTEREST COUPONS AND REQUESTING THE MIAMI BEACH FIRST NATIONAL BANK TO TRANSFER INTEREST • FUNDS NOW ON DEPOSIT WITH THE CHEMICAL BANK & TRUST COMPANY OF NEW YORK CITY TO THE ACCOUNT CF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH. WHEREAS, the Miami Beach First National Bank has heretofore, by several Resolutions of this City Council, been requested to deposit in their own name with the Chemical Bank & Trust Company, New York City, certain sums of money for the payment of all City of Miami Beach bond interest coupons due July 1st, 1933, September 1st, 1933, October lst, 1933, November let, 1933 and January 1st, 193 +, and WHEREAS, the said Chemical Bank & Trust Company have been paying said interest coupons out of said funds and forwarding them after payment to the said Miami Beach First National Bank, all in accordance with instructions contained in Resolutions of this City Council, and WHEREAS, the Refunding Plan has sufficiently progressed to make this procedure no longer necessary, funds having been sent direct to the said Chemical Bank & Trust Company for the last three bond interest payment dates, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Miami Beach First National Bank be and they are hereby requested to cause the present balance remain- ing in their interest account at said Chemical Bank & Trust Company to be transferred to the account of the City of Miami Beach in said Chemical Bank & Trust Company, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said Chemical Bank & Trust Company be and they are hereby instructed to pay any and all out- standing City of. Miami Beach interest coupons due July let, September 1st, October 1st and November 1st, 1933 and January 1st, 1934, out of the said City of Miami Beach account, forwarding the cancelled coupons to the City of Miami Beach and disregarding hereafter 'irstructipns con- tained. in Resolutions Nos. 2645, 2660, 2669, 2653 and 2711, passed and adopted June 7th, 1933, August 7th, 1933, August 25th, 1933, October 4th, 1933 and. December 4th, 1933, respectively, and also disregarding hereafter all instruc- tions heretofore given with reference to withholding payment of interest coupons pending the furnishing of name and address of owners of bonds as contained in two resolutions Nos. 2608 and 2635, passed and adopted April 27th, 1933, and June 7th, 1933, respectively.
