Resolution 2875 RESOLUTION NO. 2875
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been petitioned to consider the amending, supple-
menting, changing, modifying and/or repealing of the regulations,
restrictions and/or boundaries, as provided in Ordinance No. 289,
commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida,
as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
All of Block 22, Ocean Beach Addition
No. 3, as shown on a Plat recorded in
Plat Book 2 at Page 81 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida,
so as to change said property from its present Multiple Family
Use Regulation to a similar use regulation which would include
Theatres, and
WHEREAS, in order to make this desired change it becomes
necessary to amend the said Zoning Ordinance by creating a new
Use District to be designated as ".FEE", to read as follows:
USE REGULATIONS
MULTIPLE-FAMILY AND TREATRE DISTRICT
In the "REE" District no building or land shall be
used and no building shall be hereafter erected,
constructed, reconstructed or structurally altered
which is designed, arranged or intended to be used
for any _purpose unless otherwise provided for in this
Ordinance except for one or more of the following
uses:
1: Any use permitted in the RE Multiple-Family
District.
2: Theatres, without stores or other commercial
enterprises.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing be
called for the 11th day of July, 1934, at 9:00 o'clock A. M. ,
in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida,
for the purposes as above set forth, and
BE IT FURTHER REsolved that notice of the time, place and
object of such hearing be published as is provided by said Ordi-
nance No. 289.
