RESOLUTION NO. 2902
WHEREAS, it has come to our attention that the
State Road Department is considering the construction
of a new and more adequate bridge over Bakers Haulover
Cut and a new and wider highway extending from the
present Collins Avenue extension through the Graham-
Fisher-Tatum development, on the South, to Sunny Isles
on the North, and
WHEREAS, the construction of this new highway
and bridge would greatly improve and facilitate the
handling of traffic from the north into our City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that we hereby
endorse the efforts of State Road Commissioner Mr. W. p.
Mooty in promoting this much needed improvement.
