Resolution 2925 RESOLUTION NO. 2925
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, by Resolution No. 2901, passed and adopted the 27th
day of June, 1933, terminated the refunding plan of the City
of Miami Beach as authorized by Resolutions Nos. 2607 and 2641,
passed by the said City Council under date of April 27th, 1933,
and June 9th, 1933, respectively and determined that there should
be no further exchange of existing Bonds for said Twenty Year
Refunding Bonds after July 6th, 1934, and
WHEREAS, said City Council, by Resolution No. 2904, passed
and adopted the 5th day of July, 1934, ordered the City Clerk to
destroy by cremation the 325 Bonds remaining unexchanged after
July 6th, 1934, of the $2,711,000.00 Twenty Year Refunding Bonds
dated July 1st, 1933, and expiring July 1st, 1953,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SAID CITY COUNCIL
that The First National Bank of Miami, Miami, Florida, acting
as depositary for said refunding plan, and as such depositary
being custodian of these remaining 325 Bonds, be and they are
hereby instructed and authorized to discontinue the exchange of
bonds as authorized by Council Resolution No. 2721, passed Janu-
ary 17th, 1934, and turn over to C. W. Tomlinson, City Clerk in
and for the City of Miami Beach, at his request, the said remain-
ing 325 Bonds in order that he may destroy same as heretofore
ordered, said bonds being further described as follows:

186 Bonds, Nos. 1116 to 1301, inclusive
BONDS BEARING INTEREST AT THE RATE OF 5 3/
46 Bonds, Nos. 1616 to 1661, inclusive
BONDS BEARING INTEREST AT THE RATE OF 5-114
61 Bonds, Nos. 2258 to 2318, inclusive
BONDS BEARING INTEREST AT THE RATE OF 5 %
32 Bonds, Nos. 2680 to 2711, inclusive
325 Bonds - Total
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in turning over the above
described Bonds to the said City Clerk, the said The First
National Bank of Miami is thereafter relieved of any further
responsibility with reference to said 325 Bonds.
