SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT SR-197
IMPROVEMENT SR.-197
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby settingforth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the ity Charter:
SR-197 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta or an
8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer and necessary manholes
and appurtenances.
At or near the East curb of Sheridan Avenue from
a point at or near the South curb of West 42nd
Street to a point at or near the North line of
West 41st Street.
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta or a 6" Concrete
Sewer Lateral from the main line to the line of
approximately each one hundred feet of abutting
property as a part of the main improvement.
As said Streets and Avenue are shown on a Plat
recorded in Plat Book 25, Page 30 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character and size of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of each kind of said improvement
and an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of the cost
of the expense of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and pro-
ceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and
the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-197, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District SR-197.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS, 15th DAY OF August A.D.1934.
