DISTRICT SR-201 STORM SEWER
IMPR0VEMENT SR-201
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA.
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter.
SR-201 The laying underground of an 18" Terra Cotta
Storm Sewer or an 18" Concrete Storm Sewer
and necessary manholes and appurtenances:
In a 51 easement , the Northerly line of said
easement being the boundary line between Lots
42 and 43 of Block 1 of Nautilus Subdivision
and the Southerly line of said easement being
parallel with and 5' perpendicular from the said
boundary line between Lots 42 and 43, from
Biscayne Bay to the Westerly line of North Bay
Road.
In and across North Bay Road from a point at or
near the intersection of the centerline of said
easement with the said Westerly line of North
Bay Road. to a point at or near the intersection
of said center line of said easement produced
Northeasterly with the centerline of said North
Bay Road.
As said Lot , Block, Subdivision and Road are shown
on a Plat recorded in Plat Book No. 8, Page 95
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character and size of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions.
Which Storm Sewer the City Council declares to be of
special benefit to all the p-foperty embraced within
the following described District.
Beginning at a point which is on the boundary line
between Lots 41 and 42 of Block 1, Nautilus Subdivision
and 20' perpendicular from the Westerly line of Said
Block 1; thence Easterly along the said boundary line
between Lots 41 and 42 to a point on the Westerly line
of North Bay Road; thence Easterly along a line to a
point which is the intersection of the Easterly line
of said North Bay Road and the boundary line between
Lots 1 and 2, Block 7 of said Nautilus Subdivision;
thence Easterly along said boundary line between Lots
1 and 2 to a point on the Northeasterly corner of said
Lot 2; thence Southerly along a meandering line, follow-
ing the boundary lines between said Lot 2 and Lot 26 ,
Lot 3 and Lot 25, Lot 4 and Lot 24, Lot 5 and Lot 23,
Lot 6 and Lot 22, Lot 7 and Lot 21, Lot 8 and Lot 20,
Lot 9 and Lot 19, Lot 10 and Lot 18, Lot 11 and Lot 17,
Lot 12 and Lot 16, Lot 13 and Lot 15 all of "said Block 7,
to a point on the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 13;
Thence alongline topoint on the Northeasterly a a
line of North Bay Road and 158.3' from the Northwesterly
corner of Lot 14 of said Block 7, measured Southeasterly

• along said Northeasterly line of said. North Bay
Road; thence along the line to a point which is the
Northwesterly corner of Lot E of the Resubdivision
of Lots 48, 49, 50 and 51 of Block 1 of Nautilus
Subdivision; thence Southerly along the Westerly
line of said. Lot E to the Southwesterly corner of
said Lot E; thence Westerly along the Northerly line
of Lot 52 of said Block 1 to a point which is 20'
Easterly of the Westerly line of said Block 1; thence
Northerly along a meandering line 20' Easterly of the
Westerly line of said Block 1 to the point of beginning.
As said Lots, Blocks, Road, Subdivision and Resubdivision
are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book 8, at Page 95,
and in Plat Book 35, at Page 46 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said improve-
ment and an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of
the cost of expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and speci-
fications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and ally other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each thousand square
feetof property embraced within above described district.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Storm Sewer Improvement SR-20l, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District SR-201,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31st day of October A.D.1934.
