DISTRICT H..124 HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-124
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
The the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter,
H-124 Alley between Lincoln Road and Seventeenth Street;
From the East Line of Alton Road to a point nine
and one half feet east of the West line of Lenox
Avenue; From a point nine and one half feet west of
the East Line of said Lenox Avenue to a point nine
and one half feet east of the West Line of Michigan
Avenue; From a port nine and one half feet west of the
East lin* of said Michigan Avenue to a ,point nine
and one half feet east of the West Line of Jefferson
Avenue, to be paved, and where heretofore paved,to
be repaved, to a width of twenty feet, with a bituminous
wearing surface on an eight inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes, and catch basins.
As Said Alley, Road, Avenues and Street are shown on
Plats Recorded in Plat Bokk 6, Pages 5, 29 and 30 of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said imporvement
and an estimate of the cost thereof, includung an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and spec-
ifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices,
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during constru-
ction,legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper for conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assesses against
each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments,
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-124, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-124,
PASSED AND ADOPTED 7th day of November 1934.
