RESOLUTION NO. 3021
DISTRICT SL-3 SANITARY SEWER LATERAL
IMPROVEMENT SL•.3
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is here-
by ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its
intention to proceed under Section 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SL-3 The laying underground of 6" Terra Cotta or 6"
Concrete Sewer Laterals, as a separate improvement ,
from the existing Sanitary Sewer to the line of
approximately each fifty feet (50' ) of adjacent
property.
In the alley between Lincoln Road and 17th Street
on both sides from the East line of Alton Road to
the West line of Michigan Avenue.
As said Road, Alleys, Street and Avenue are shown
on Plat recorded in Plat Book 6, Pages 5,29 and 30
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character and size of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions,
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said
improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, including an
estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other
surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the prepara-
tion of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and
publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and
any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against the abutting property for each sewer lateral,
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement SL-3, and the pro-
perty against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District SL-3,
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th DAY OF December A.D.1934.
