Resolution 3065 RESOLUTION NO. 3065
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS on the 24th day of January, 1935 , there was submitted
to the City Council of said City the following proposal:
"I, J. Gescheidt, authorized agent and representative
of the owners of the hereinafter described property, do
hereby offer to convey or have conveyed to the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, at and for the sum of $15,675.00
cash as hereinafter set forth, the following described
real estate, to-wit: Lots 4 and 5, Block 114, Ocean
Beach Addition No. 4, City of Miami Beach, Florida. Sub-
ject to dedication, for the use of the public for street,
of the West 15 feet of said premises.
"The title to said premises is to be free and clear ex-
cept for usual restrictions running with the land; this
property to be accepted within five (5) days from the
date thereof, final closing to be within forty-five (45)
days from acceptance.
"Seller will furnish abstract showing merchantable title
of record to date of transfer. All taxes to be pro-rated
as of the date of closing.

"As owner of Lot 4, Block 114, Ocean Beach Addition No. 4,
I agree to deliver same to the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
for the sum of $7,837. 50 in accordance with the terms and
conditions as outlined above and to pay the regular five
(5) per cent Real Estate Commission to my authorized agent,
J. Gescheidt.

"As owner of Lot 5, Block 114, Ocean Beach Addition No. 4,
I agree to deliver same to the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
for the sum of$7,837.50 in accordance with the terms and
conditions as outlined above and to pay the regular five (5)
Per cent Real Estate Commission to my authorized agent, J.
Gescheidt.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said proposal be
accepted under the terms and conditions and provisions of
Section 26 of the City Charter of the City of Miami Beach as
amended in 1925; that the Mayor and City Clerk of said City
are hereby authorized to execute such documents as may be
necessary to carry this resolution into effect and that they
report their acts and doings relative thereto to the said
City Council.
