Resolution 3068 RESOLUTION 3068
Whereas,the Supreme Architect of the Universe has seen
fit tt3 remove from our midst our beloved fellow citizen,
Captain Frank H. Henning, and
Whereas our esteemed friend
has been continiously active in our civic affairs ever
since his arrival in our community, having served as a
City Councilman for a period of eight years in the capacity
of Police Commissioner for two years and Commissioner of
Fire & Water Department for six years, and in later years
as Health Inspector and Harbor Master of the Port of Miami ,
and
Whereas, he has been closely associated in many of our
civic, religious, fraternal and commercial enterprises, always
endeavoring to build up rather than to tear down, and
Whereas, we shall miss this man's friendly smile and
timely counsel,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that we hereby
express, in behalf of this body and for the community at large,
our regret at his passing, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we convey to his beloved wife
and family, our sincere sympathy in their bereavement.
