Resolution 3089 RESOLUTION NO. 3089
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been petitioned to consider the amending and/or
repealing of the regulations, restrictions and/or boundaries,
as provided in Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida, as hereinafter set forth,
to-wit:
Beginning at a point which is the point of
curvature on the Northerly line of 19th Street
of the circular curve having a radius of seventy-
five feet (75' ) at the Southwesterly corner of
Block 11A, Island View Addition, thence along said
circular curve for a distance of one hundred seventy-
two feet (172' ) more or less to the point of tangency
on Alton Road, thence Northeasterly along the South-
easterly line of said Alton Road a distance of thirty
feet (30' ) to a point, thence in a Southeasterly
direction along a line at right angles to said South-
easterly line of Alton Road a distance of fifty-six
feet (56' ) more or less to a point which is one
hundred ten feet (110' ) distant from the said North-
erly line of 19th Street, thence in an Easterly
direction along a line parallel with and one hundred
ten feet (110' ) distant from the said Northerly line
of 19th Street a distance of one hundred four and
four-tenths feet (104.4' ) more or less to a point
which is one hundred ten feet (110' ) distant from
the radial line of the said point of curvature on
said Northerly line of 19th Street. Thence Southerly
along a line at right angles to the said Northerly
line of 19th Street a distance of one hundred ten
feet (110' ) to a point on the said Northerly line
of 19th Street, thence Westerly along said Northerly
line of 19th Street a distance of one hundred ten
feet (110' ) to the point of beginning, containing
0.47 acres more or less, as said Island View Addition
is shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book 9 at Page
144 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
so as to change said above described area from its present
use regulation RE MULTIPLE-FAMILY DISTRICT to RE-1 MULTIPLE-
FAMILY AND PROFESSIONAL OFFICE DISTRICT, and
so as to change the area regulation on the above described
area from its present area regulation District No. 13 to
District No. 19, as all of said use regulations and area
regulations are described in Ordinance No. 289, as amended.
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing
be called for the 20th day of March, 1935, at 9:00 o'clock
A. M. , in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami Beach,
Florida, for the purpose as above set forth, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of the time, place
and object of such hearing be published as is provided by said
Ordinance No. 289.
