RESOLUTION NO. 3120 BS IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that we hereby approve and endorse the proposed Acts which are entitled as follows: "An Act to Amend Section 10 of Chapter 7672, Laws of the State of Florida, Acts of 1917, Entitled 'An Act to Abolish the Present Municipal Government of the Town of Miami Beach, in the County of Dade, and State of Florida, and to Establish, Organize and In- corporate a City Government for the City of Miami Beach, to Define its Territorial Boundaries, to Pre- scribe Its Jurisdiction., Powers and Privileges, and for the Exercise of Same, and to Authorize the Impo- sition of Penalties for the Violation of Its Ordinances'." "An Act to Amend Section 3 of Chapter 10845, Laws of the State of Florida, Approved June 11, 1925, Entitled 'An Act to Amend Portions of Chapter 9836, Chapter 9023, Chapter 7672, of the Laws of Florida, Relating to the Municipal Government of the City of Miami Beach, Florida'." "An Act Relating to the Government of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and Providing for the Adoption of Ordi- v nances and Prescribing Penalties for the Violation thereof." "An Act to Amend Sections 3, 4, 10 and 14 of Chapter 9836, Laws of the State of Florida, Acts of 1923, Entitled 'An Act to Amend Chapter 9023 of the Laws of Florida, Relating to the Municipal Government of the City of Miami Beach; and to Amend Chapter 7672 of the Laws of Florida, Relating to the Municipal Government of the City of Miami Beach'." "An Act to Amend Section 1 of Chapter 16562, Laws of the State of Florida, Acts of 1933, Entitled. 'An Act to Amend Section 43 of the Charter of the City of Miami Beach, being Chapter 7672 of the Laws of Florida, Acts of 1917, to Provide for the Levy of One Mill for Publicity and Advertising Purposes'." "An Act Authorizing and Empowering the City of Miami Beach, Florida, to Purchase Lands Sold for Delinquent Taxes of said City to the Same Extent and in the Same Manner as Private Persons and Corporations May Purchase Lands Sold for Delinquent Taxes." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of said proposed Acts, together with a certified copy of this Resolution, be sent to each of the following: Senator John W. Watson, Representatives S. P. Robineau, Dan Chappell and Glenn C. Mincer, and that they each be respectfully requested to see that Bills, sub- stantially in accordance with the said copies, be introduced and passed during the present session of the Florida State Legislature.
